Stan Crosby - Managing Director
I started the business in 1991, having previously worked as Area manager for a large National Insurance Broker. We now trade from two branches employing 15 staff. I try to keep fit by attending regular gym sessions and I have run a few 10k runs for charity and like the idea of making a contribution to worthwhile causes and keeping fit at the same time. I enjoy more than anything spending time with my family and having as many family BBQ’s as possible.
Lynn Crosby - Accounts
June Bainbridge - Senior Customer Care Advisor
I have worked at Crosby Insurance Brokers for 20 years. My daily tasks include handling customers service enquiries on the telephone or face to face. I also handle all the incoming post which includes handling cheques, checking proposal forms and driving licences as well as insurance documents we have received from underwriters which need to be forwarded to clients. My hobbies include gardening, cooking (red wine & chocolate) and spending time with my family.
Lisa Wardropper - Accounts Manager
My main role in the office is to make sure all the accounts are paid correctly to insurers, direct debit companies and solicitors. I work very closely with my mum (Lynn Crosby) who works with me in the accounts department. I am married and have a young daughter who takes up most of time when she is not at school; she enjoys karate, swimming and loves animals!

I started working at Crosby Insurance Brokers in 2016. My previous roles were as an Underwriter for a large insurer and I transferred to Business Insurance Broking 20 years ago. I’m passionate about providing the very best service to all my clients and I ensure my team have the same ambition.
Michael Wanless- Assistant Manager
I’ve been working for Crosby Insurance Brokers for several years and started as a Trainee. Building my experience in the customer care team and then moving onto renewal of the policies, ensuring i obtain the best terms for my clients.
I love my job and always want to provide my clients with a personable service. My strengths are attention to detail to ensure the policy is fully explained to my client.
